The Brookfield Craft Center is proud to announce that Mr. Howard Lasser, volunteer Executive Director of the BCC, will be the 2016 recipient of the Heart of the Arts Award, facilitated by the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut as part of their Business Supports the Arts Breakfast on Thursday, October 20th. This prestigious, peer-nominated award is designed to recognize the outstanding efforts and contribution made on the part of an individual to nurture the arts and increase the quality of life in their community. It is one of four awards that will be presented that morning and the only one to bestowed upon an individual. We are so pleased that Howard is being recognized for his unwavering support and contributions to the success of the Craft Center and our community as a whole. Without the selfless gift of his time and expertise, our organization would not be where we are today.
The Business Supports the Arts Breakfast is a great opportunity for the local communities to come together to celebrate the arts. It will be held from 7:30 – 9 a.m. at the Matrix Center in Danbury, located at 39 Old Ridgebury Rd. The Brookfield Craft Center would like to encourage all of our friends and supporters to attend the event to represent our organization, support the Cultural Alliance and congratulate all of the deserving award recipients.
Tickets are just $30 and all proceeds benefit the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut. Get your tickets here
