Brookfield Craft Center is dedicated to removing any financial barriers to those who wish to learn the skills of a fine craft and explore their creativity. We offer scholarships to persons of all ages and interests without regard to race, gender or religious affiliation. We want to enable as many students as possible to participate in our classes taught by highly skilled artists and craftspeople. Scholarship assistance comes from our Scholarship Fund, contributions from various foundations and other existing named scholarships that support specific programs.
We offer programs for adults, teens, and children throughout the calendar year plus a Summer Youth Program in July and August. Scholarship recipients may experience classes in any one of our 8 studios offering classes in: Digital Arts, Ceramics, Glass, Fiber, Forge, Jewelry and Metalsmithing, Painting and Drawing, and Woodturning.
The application form for all scholarships is below.
During the 1st quarter of each year, Brookfield Craft Center will offer one class that is totally free to new students seeking to explore an interest in Woodturning. An additional scholarship will be offered in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarter of the calendar year. Read more about the Buster Shaw Scholarship.
Students wishing to attend any of our regular scheduled classes in our Digital Arts Studio may apply for a Digital Arts Scholarship. Classes include Photography, Adobe Photoshop, CNC Woodworking, 3-D Printing, Sketch-up & more.
