This exhibition recognizes art as a catalyst for social protest and promoting harmony and unity. Brookfield Craft Center is proud to present “US All”, an exhibition focused on showing the diversity that binds us and is woven into the fabric of our country.  Opening Juneteenth (June 19^th) in the Lynn Tendler Bignell Gallery the show features works from 27 artists from around the country.  As the name implies, this exhibition celebrates the power of unity by showcasing diversity through portraits of our pluralistic, multi-ethnic/multi-cultural peoples.

Howard Lasser, Brookfield Craft Center’s executive director commented: “Brookfield Craft Center is committed to supporting efforts to promote diversity, equity and inclusion in the artistic community.  We are excited to present this exhibition, which shows the faces that make up the American mosaic.”

The show is sponsored by Reid & Riege PC of Hartford, and Rio Grande, and is curated by Bibiana Matheis, an artist, curator, and photographer. She curated nearly a hundred physical and virtual exhibitions, from a single artist to hundreds, in all types of art shows in New York’s top galleries, museums and art centers. Presently, she is a curator and Virtual Exhibition program director for the Hammond Museum and Japanese Stroll Garden in North Salem, New York. Her own work has been on exhibit worldwide, including in the National Museum of African American History and Culture – Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C. (on display and in the permanent collection).

The exhibition will be open from June 19^th through July 18^th in the Lynn Tendler Bignell Gallery located in the Brookfield Craft Center’s Mill Building at 286 Whisconier Road. It will also be available virtually on the Center’s website, www.brookfieldcraft.org.
