Any student under 16 wishing to attend any of our regular scheduled classes for children may apply for a scholarship.
Deadlines to apply are no less than two weeks prior to the start of the desired class.

From parent child encounters in clay, to after school programs in drawing and painting to Blacksmithing, there are programs for all interests. In our programs, discovering their own artisan and learning lifelong skills, children will discover the joy and benefit of creating something with their own hands.

Thanks to funding from the Union Savings Bank Foundation and the State of Connecticut, The Brookfield Craft Center is able to offer exciting opportunities for children of all ages ( 3 and up) to explore their creative energies. Recipients will receive free tuition for a class of their choice. The scholarship will also cover materials and registration fees.

Scholarship recipients will be chosen by a panel of Brookfield Craft Center staff. The panel will review the applications and select those that reflect the strongest need and desire to experience and explore creative opportunities.
