Starting July 5, 2011–This workshop is an introduction to the basics of weaving. Using a portable 2-heddle loom (bring your own or purchase one from us), you will learn how to set up a loom with the warp and how to make a plain weave piece in mixed textures or colors. The first project will be a sampler and you will probably be able to complete two projects.
Fabric will be fashioned in our studios in May: make it the month to craft your own art from fiber. Register for these classes, and enjoy the unique satisfaction that making a fine item by your own hand can bring!
