Weaving Basics w/Christine Aulicino

Starting July 5, 2011–This workshop is an introduction to the basics of weaving. Using a portable 2-heddle loom (bring your own or purchase one from us), you will learn how to set up a loom with the warp and how to make a plain weave piece in mixed textures or colors. The first project will be a sampler and you will probably be able to complete two projects.

Gemstones on Beach Stones

This is elegant jewelry making on a serious budget. Jewelry makers with some experience can learn this technique from Leslie Hartwell.  It uses minimal amounts of silver, saving money. Want it to be fancier? Add a faceted stone or two!  April 9 – 10; click to register.
