Robin studied feltmaking with Beth Beede and learned needle felting from Anna Vargas at a puppetry festival workshop, which redesigned how she works in wool. A workshop with Carol Huber Cypher inspired more refinement. Hand made felt always turns up somewhere no matter what the project. Much of her work is sculptural in nature, and her favorite medium is wool. Robin constructs masks, props and sculptures. She has taught wet felting and teaches art in libraries, schools, colleges, and at her studio. She has produced small works and large-scale environmental sculptures with students.
