Leslie holds a BS in Studio Art (Fiber) from Skidmore College. She studied with Navajo weavers Dy Begay and Pearl Sunrise, Chimayo weaver Lisa Trujillo, Lewis Knauss, and John McQueen. She has over 30 years weaving experience. Leslie maintains a studio and shop, Wild West Weaver, in Ridgefield, CT.
