Summer Youth Registration Has a Few Seats Left!

Brookfield Craft Center’s Hands-On Summer Youth Program is celebrating its 11th year of inspiring creativity! This program is a great alternative to full-day summer-long education programs offering small class sizes where students receive individual attention in a warm and welcoming environment. Choose from a variety of classes offered in any of our eight studios and explore the joy of crafting.

Turning 20

This exhibition celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Turning Center at Brookfield Craft Center which features the woodturned artistry of members of the Nutmeg Woodturners League.

Reception held on June 21st from 5 – 8pm.

On display from May 3rd through July 6th.

Say It Loud! Call to LGBTQIA+ Artists
What do you want to say? This summer, Brookfield Craft Center is turning the mic over to LGBTQIA+ artists for a juried show that’s all about your message. No theme, no boundaries just your voice, your vision.
Open to artists working in all media, within driving distance of Brookfield, CT.

Wood Turning & Wood Working

Join us for our wood turning and wood working classes held in the train station. Come turn on one of out many lathes!

Fun in the Forge

Welding, blacksmithing, and much more. Classes for all skill levels. Sign up early, classes fill up fast!

Create with Clay

Make a mug, a teapot or dinnerware! Home school pottery, after school pottery, and other youth adventures in clay.

Weaving & Fiber Classes

Weave a scarf, a table runner, block print a tea towel, learn Sashiko stitching and more.

Lampwork & Glass Classes

From lamp work beads to borosilicate and silkscreen, our glass studio hosts a variety of classes.

Photography Classes for All Levels of Interest

Want to understand how to capture subjects effectively and creatively? Master DSLR camera settings and more!
